The Ceremony-
Time: 4:00pm
We spend a lot of our days hanging out at Sandy Beach. It's a beautiful park along the Elbow River that offers the perfect getaway from the big city. We all agreed this would be a wonderful place to get married! Our wedding will be officiated by Sue Saunders, a great family friend who is sure to make our special day extra special.
Sandy Beach Park is just off of 50th Avenue and 15a Street SW - drive down the elbow river pathway and look for our signs to point you in the right direction.

PLEASE NOTE: the ceremony will be quick, but it will be outdoors- rain, snow or shine. Please select your party pants with this in mind. Also, the terrain might be a little 'out doorsy', so your footwear choice may want to reflect that.
The Reception-
Time: Directly following the ceremony until 1:00am
Finally, the fun part! Right after the ceremony we will hurry on over to the Scandinavian Cultural Hall.

5:30pm - Cocktail hour
Enjoy popcorn and a bottle of root beer while you get to know some of our most favourite people!
We will also have a toonie bar with a selection of the best local craft beer and a bit of wine if beer is not your thing.
6:30pm - Dinner
Food - We are keeping things simple and fun with a selection of our favourite wood fired gourmet pizza and amazing homemade salad from Rustixx Woodfired Pizza.
Our longtime friend James Boettcher, will be our MC for the evening. Lots of laughs, good stories and a wonderful time is sure to be had by all!
9:00pm onward - Dancing the night away and a few sweet treats!
Finn has been practicing his best moves for MONTHS in anticipation of this epic dance party! We have hired John Creary to DJ the evening so be sure to start thinking up your song requests! We will also have a dessert bar filled with all of our favourite sweet treats; Chocolate chip cookies, rhubarb pie, powdered donuts and cheesecake just to name a few. Make sure to save some room!
